An investigation of the fundamental questions pertaining to reality, truth, freedom, the nature of humankind, the existence of God and social/political theory. The class will seek to expand the student’s awareness and basic understanding of philosophy and its various branches, and develop the student’s ability to think critically about traditional philosophical questions and problems. This course qualifies for additional grade weighting for students who sit for the exam.
