Course Description

Prerequisite: One full credit in Algebra I
 
This is a college preparatory course that will include all the topics suggested by the State Standards. Assignments and discussion will center on the problems and ideas of the basic terms and concepts of triangles, analyzing incomplete deductive proofs, rigid motion, circles, and areas/volumes. This course is heavily based online and will require frequent use of technology outside the classroom. This course includes homework, quizzes, tests and projects/frequent group work. Time required outside of class is necessary, but not overwhelming. This is a semester long course. The workload for the class is moderate. An End of Course Test will be given at the end of the course, which will count at least 15% of their final grade in the 2019-20 school year.
