MLK Day - In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and remembrance of his work towards equality and civil rights.
Winter Formal

WINTER FORMAL POSTPONED

AHS' Winter Formal on Saturday, January 11, has been postponed due to forecasted weather. We will announce the rescheduled date and time as soon as the information is available.

Getting close to wrapping up the first half of our year and our fall courses. Here is the Fall 2024 testing schedule.
Football

No School - Friday, Dec. 6th

There will be no school on Friday, Dec. 6th to allow Alcoa students and families the opportunity to support the football team at the state championship.

  • #1 Ready Graduate Alcoa High School ranked #1 in Ready Graduate in the state of Tennessee.
  • Early Post Secondary Opportunities (EPSO) EPSO credits can be earned through Dual Enrollment, Statewide Dual Credit, AP, & Local Dual Credit courses and industry certifications.
  • Career & Technical Education (CTE) CTE programs include: health science, computer science, marketing, HVAC, STEM, & culinary arts with industry certifications and post-secondary credits.
  • 1:1 Technology Student-to-technology ratio. Each AHS student is provided a Chromebook by the school at the beginning of each year.
  • 40+ School Sports & Club Organizations AHS offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities for students including academic-minded organizations, interests clubs, & championship-caliber sports teams.
