The Alcoa High School Winterguard would like to invite any interested high school or middle school students to come and be a part of our amazing, award-winning team for this upcoming winter season. The guard is part of the band program and you have most likely seen them performing with the band on Friday nights. If you enjoy being active, performing, acting, dancing, and being part of a positive team atmosphere, please come see what Winterguard is all about. You will learn to perform routines with flags, sabres, rifles, and other cool props and equipment.
We will be having an informational meeting at the Alcoa High School band room on Tuesday, November 9th from 3:30-4:30 p.m. There you will receive more information about being in guard and get to meet your instructors and potential teammates. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!
