EPSO-Students accepted into the pre-LPN dual enrollment program with TCAT-Knoxville will receive credit hours toward the practical nursing licensure program upon successful completion of this course. Course Code: Dependent on Whether Student Enrolls as Dual Enrollment Anatomy and Physiology is designed to develop an understanding of the structures and functions of the human body, while relating those to knowledge and skills associated with pathophysiology. Upon completion of this course, proficient students will be able to (1) apply the gross anatomy from earlier courses to a deeper understanding of all body systems, (2) identify the organs and structures of the support and movement systems, (3) relate the structure and function of the communication, control, and integration system, and (4) demonstrate a professional, working understanding of the transportation, respiration, excretory, and reproduction systems.

Please follow the instructions from Mrs. Ferrell that are copied below. NOTE: IF YOU ALREADY COMPLETED THE TCAT DE APPLICATION IN A PREVIOUS ASSIGNMENT, YOU CAN SKIP STEP 1.)

2. TSAC Student Portal for the Dual Enrollment Grant: https://clipslink.tsac.tn.gov/studentsignon
Students will either create a new account or use their existing account. Then, they will log back in and apply for the DE Grant; it's a two step process! Here's a link to videos to watch for help: https://www.collegefortn.org/tsacstudentportal. Think of the TN Promise how-to video as DE Grant; the process is the same!
If students have already completed the DEG this school year, they do not need to apply again! They just need to make sure the institution listed on their DEG is TCAT Knoxville.
They need to remember this login and password because they will use it again for the TN Promise application/scholarship!
Students will need their basic demographic information, including SSN for both applications. If you do not have a SSN, let Dr. Bell, Mrs. Everett, or Mrs. Ferrell know and we can work with you individually.
When you have completed Steps 1 & 2, hit submit.
