Purpose – Students will present the main ideas and findings from their research paper, highlighting the individual’s adversity, response, and impact. The goal is to inform, analyze, and engage the audience, demonstrating a clear understanding of the research and its significance.
Length: 4 to 6 minutes
Content Requirements: Student presentations must be delivered using Google slides or Canva. The slides should be clear and concise – not overloaded with text. Slides should enhance the student presentation. Students are encouraged to include photos, a video clip – no more than 30 seconds long, data, timelines, or quotes.
Visual Props: Visually appealing props that creatively and authentically connect to student presentations are encouraged. Extra credit points will be awarded for visual props used during the presentation.
Speaking and Delivery: Speak clearly and confidently — avoid reading word-for-word. Maintain eye contact and engage with the audience. Use appropriate tone, pacing, and gestures. Practice timing to stay within the limit.

Please note below the attached instructions regarding the literary analysis essay that you are required to write as a concluding assessment of our study. The blank Google doc is where you will actually type and submit your essay.

What evidence suggests that sharp divisions or conflicts exist among the people of Salem? Reference at least three divisions or conflicts amongst this Puritan sect.
Please note: You will need a general explanation, textual evidence, and expansion of point for each of the three divisions that you note. This means that your short constructive response will be a minimum of 11 sentences if written properly. You are also expected to highlight and label each sentence to verify that you have each component of a thorough constructed response. I have noted the formula in the attached Google document and have also noted the colors you will highlight for your typed response to identify each component.
