Elements to Know

You will need to memorize the most commonly used 30 elements, their chemical symbols, and their atomic numbers (see attachment). This is meant not as a pointless memorization exercise, but to assist you in ease and speed of completing assignments and problems in this course. Please take your time and make sure you know these important elements.

There will be a quiz over these 30 elements, their chemical symbols, and atomic numbers on Thursday July, 30th. They must be spelled correctly.
