Spanish I-Period: 4 - 2023-Period: 4

Spanish I is an introduction to the Spanish language and its culture. Students will be able to communicate at a basic level about themselves and their immediate environment through the three modes of communication: interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational. Students will demonstrate proficiency in these three communication modes by listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish. Students will explore the similarities and differences between the American culture and that of the Spanish-speaking world.
