Ready to take your mechatronics skills to the next level? In DE STEM Technology II: Automation and Robotics, we build on what you learned in the first class and dive deeper into the world of automation and robotics. You'll engage in hands-on projects and learn advanced skills, including: PLC Programming: Enhance your skills in programmable logic controllers and discover how they automate complex systems. Pneumatics: Understand the power of compressed air and its applications in various automated systems. Print Reading: Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics essential for designing and troubleshooting systems. Automation Design and Construction: Get creative and practical as you design and build your automated systems. This course is a dual-enrollment program with Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT). Grant funded, this allows students who complete the course and maintain satisfactory attendance and a minimum of an 80 average to receive up to 108 clock hours of credit toward the Industrial Maintenance/Mechatronics program.
