It's great to be an Alcoa Tornado! I started working for Alcoa City Schools in 2005 as a substitute teacher. In 2013, I started full time in the front office of the high school. I coached the cheerleaders from 2009 (or '08, I can't remember) until this past 2026 basketball season.
I was born and raised in Knoxville, TN, where I attended Knox City Schools and received a Bachelors of Science degree in Merchandising from the University of TN. My husband Steve and I have two adult children, Nick and Ally (both graduates of AHS), and both married. We have two grandchilden, granddaughter Weslie and grandson Jackson.
