David Sweetland has been with Alcoa City Schools since 2012. Before that, he was a history teacher and an assistant football coach at Farragut High School for 7 years. He received his B.S. in History and Education from Austin Peay State University  and his M.S. from Carson Newman. David and his wife Emily have two children, Dawson and Ella.
