About Me
I am thrilled to have been a part of the Alcoa City Schools family since 1999. As a transplant from South Florida, I'm truly amazed at the heritage, values, and caring nature of East Tennesseans. I have been fortunate enough to work with staff and students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in the Alcoa school system. I currently get the joy of helping shape tomorrow's workforce through the Career and Technical Education Department at AHS. Watching the growth and development of students through 3 years in the STEM program is truly rewarding.
My educational background includes degrees from South Florida State College, The University of South Florida and Tennessee Technological University. My wife is an educator in the Blount County Schools system, and I have a daughter that attends Alcoa City Schools. I spend most summers traveling with family or working around the world as a Teen Expedition Facilitator for the Earthwatch Institute.
