Faculty Bio

After a brief career in radio in the mid-1990s, I made the decision to enter the field of education and have been involved professionally since 2001. I enjoy working with technology and people, and feel right at home at Alcoa High School. My primary duties at AHS include working closely with teachers to help them integrate technology into their teaching as well as troubleshooting any tech issues they encounter. I also maintain the school website, social media accounts, and take care of audio/video responsibilities when necessary. Additionally, I've been assigned Jumbotron duties at Goddard field and continue to provide district wide training for our Alcoa Connects initiative.

Personally, I live in Knoxville and have been blessed with a wonderful wife and three beautiful boys. When not involved with school related activities I enjoy fishing, hiking, cooking, playing and recording music, as well as staying involved at my local church.  Most recently, I have been hired as an adjunct professor at Johnson University and will be teaching an online course to Master's level students in the fall of 2020.
