1. Read the introduction and the "Summary of the Story" sections of the Wikipedia article about Faust.
2. Listen to "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" by Charlie Daniels Band and read the lyrics as you listen.
3. Notice the similarities and differences between Tom Walker, Faust, and Johnny and their encounters with the literary figure often referred to as the Devil.
4. Using the Google Slides file as a guide, create a brief short story and illustration about a protagonist who encounters the devil. Read all of the directions on the Google Slides file and organize your work accordingly.
