Portfolio in Google Classroom

Portfolio

Your portfolio should include the following (Feel free to add additional information, documents, certifications, endorsements, accomplishments, and photos to make your portfolio stand out.):

OSHA-10 Certificate (If you need a copy, stop by and pick one up from me.)
Monthly Reflections (Including the photos)
Cover Letter
Professional Resume
Letters of Recommendation (1 per semester of WBL)
List of Responsibilities
Student Skills Assessment
Student Self-Assessment
The goal of your work-basked learning portfolio is to provide you with a valuable resource as you transition from the world of academics into the workforce. The required materials in this portfolio can be made available to a prospective employer as a way of providing important information for making a hiring decision. A well-developed portfolio can provide you with an advantage over other job or college applicants.

Your portfolio can be in the form of a hard copy in a binder or cover, a Google Slide, a Google Site, or another appropriate format. If you use a digital format, make sure all documents are embedded and are accessible to all viewers. It is better to include an image of the document.

DO NOT JUST INCLUDE LINKS TO THE DOCUMENTS. Your portfolio should be visually appealing and must include the pages from the actual documents.

Letter of Recommendation in Google Classroom

Letter of Recommendation

Obtain one letter of recommendation.
The letter should be signed and, if applicable, on company letterhead.
You must have one letter of recommendation for each semester you are in work-based learning with a maximum required of three.
Include these letters in your portfolio.
For full credit, you need to get letters from different types of people. In other words, do not get all of your letters from teachers (a coach can count as a different type of person even if he/she is a teacher).
START ASKING FOR THESE EARLY. TEACHERS ESPECIALLY GET A LOT OF THESE REQUESTS.
