Algebra II emphasizes polynomial, rational and exponential expressions, equations, and functions. This course also introduces students to the complex number system, basic trigonometric functions, and foundational statistics skills such as interpretation of data and making statistical inferences. Students build upon previous knowledge of equations and inequalities to reason, solve, and represent equations and inequalities numerically and graphically. Entrance into this course requires completion of Algebra I and teacher recommendation. This course is heavily based online and will require frequent use of technology outside the classroom. An End of Course Test will be given at the end of the course, which will count at least 15% of their final grade.

This review set is cut in two different sets:
If you think you're ready to try the test, complete the READY FOR THE TEST section. This is where all examples have been turned off. If you can make it through that, just stop with that part only.
If you think you need more help first, start with the NEED A LITTLE MORE HELP section.

You do not need to take notes unless it is helpful... you do need to complete the following prep-work for Probability. ((These 3 sets are pulled from 7th grade material. It should be doable, but don't wait to ask if you need help.))

From these videos, you should be able to define and/or distinguish these vocabulary words:
Study types: survey, experiment, observation
Sampling methods: convenience, cluster, stratified, simple random, systematic, voluntary (self-selected)
Bias
You notes should include definitions and examples of each.

This is intended to make sure you know how to use and interpret your TI-84 statistics calculator + how to read basic statistical representations. Find time to do this some on Tuesday, some on Wednesday but done before class on Thursday.

Individuals, Variables, Categorical and Quantitative
Sets with a score above 70% will be graded as 100 in skyward. Remember that you must complete the set to get credit. You can also reattempt sets if you do not achieve above a 70 the first time.

*Answers attached at the bottom of this document
*Must have work shown to receive credit... the first page are meant to be solve WITHOUT quadratic formula, using factoring or square roots.
... It would be much better to get part of the way through every problem and be stuck with a question, than to look up answers/work and just copy it down. Quadratic formula is an essential skill!
