Write a cover letter for your resume. The attached document is filled with great information to help you write your cover letter. The purpose of this assignment is to give you the experience of writing a cover letter. This letter can be to a real person to whom you are going to give the letter, a real person two whom you would like to give the letter, or an imaginary person that represents the type of person to whom you want to submit the letter. Here are some ideas for people you could address with your cover letter:
The Dean of Admissions of a college.
The manager of a business to which you are applying for work.
The CEO of the corporation that represents your dream job.
The director of a non-profit with which you want to volunteer.
A company for which you want to intern.

This part of the personalized learning plan is due later in the semester. However, it is important that you start reading it now so you can be thinking about your learning experiences and the evidence you are going to use in your portfolio to demonstrate mastery of those skills.
