Christy Daugherty
Profile:
My name is Christy Daugherty, and I have been proud to call Alcoa High School home since 2007. During my time at Alcoa, I spent many years teaching in the Science Department before transitioning into Wellness, Physical Education, and Weight Training. I am passionate about helping students develop healthy habits, build confidence, and discover the value of lifelong wellness.
Alcoa is more than just the place where I work—it is also where my family has grown and thrived. I am the proud parent of three children, all of which has been or are students in the Alcoa school system. Being both an educator and a parent gives me a unique perspective and a deep appreciation for the strong relationships, support, and sense of community that make Alcoa such a special place.
I love being part of the Alcoa family and am incredibly proud to be a Tornado. I look forward to working with students and partnering with parents to help make this a successful and rewarding school year for everyone.
