Profile:

Since 2007, my three kids and I have been blessed to call Alcoa High School our family and home. I grew up in Monroe County just 30 min down the road where I began my college career at Hiwassee College. My Bachelor of Science degree was completed once I moved to Tennessee Wesleyan in Athens, TN. Upon graduation, I began my first few years of teaching (2001-2007) at McMinn County High School as a Biology and Anatomy & Physiology teacher.  While at McMinn, I started the girls volleyball program and served as an assistant basketball coach.
In 2007, I made the move to Alcoa where I was blessed to remain in the science department teaching Biology and Anatomy & Physiology. Recently, I transitioned into the P.E. department where I teach PE, Wellness and Women's Weight training.

Aside from teaching, I also serve as the AHS Prom Sponsor and plan the Jr/Sr prom every spring and the Advisory Coordinator.
It is a true blessing and privilege to be at Alcoa! Go Tornadoes!
